New Mother Heavily Judged By Husband For Not Preparing His In-Laws A Meticulous Meal

Cooking a meal for somebody is one of the kindest ways to express love. Every minute you spend chopping garlic, pre-heating ovens, and marinating raw fish, it all takes a whole lot of time and effort. Even simple dishes can take time depending on how many steps you choose to take, or how slow you're moving in the kitchen. Some days we simply don't have the energy to chef up and that's okay, that's exactly what pre-made dinners and frozen veggies are for. Chefs on the go.
In all seriousness though, nobody should be forced to prepare a meal, well ever really, but especially not right after giving birth for a surprise visit from their in-laws. What part of that sounds fair.
